Brief 01 / Brief 02
Brief 01 was where we began. Designed around stretch, it uses unbound leg openings, a lower front rise, and a slightly narrower gusset. Brief 02 carries the same idea forward with a higher rise, wider gusset, bound leg openings, and fuller coverage through the back.
From one brief to the next
Brief 01
Designed with as little resistance as possible through the leg opening. The unbound edge allows the fabric to stretch freely, while the lower front rise gives it a different line on the body.
Brief 02
We kept the stretch in the fabric and changed the finish. Binding reinforces the leg opening and helps it recover its shape after wear. We also raised the front rise by one inch, widened the gusset and refined the rear for a cleaner finish.
A design story
Each piece becomes part of the design history of Autumn Body. Brief 01 marks where we began, and Brief 02 carries that thinking forward.
