Autumn Body is an independent clothing label, designed and made in California.

The first collection is small. Tank Top 01 and Brief 02 share the same fabric and color palette, but each went through its own decisions about proportion and finish.

We started with underwear and a question about change. The body does not stay the same. Clothes can be made with that in mind.

Each Autumn Body size is designed to span two conventional sizes. The fabric stretches and returns to shape, while the fit may be more relaxed at one end of the range and closer at the other. We do not expect the same garment to sit identically on everyone.

That approach changes what we pay attention to. Tank Top 01 has wider straps and a higher armhole. Brief 02 has a higher front rise, a wider gusset, and more coverage in the back. We also look closely at the way each opening is finished.

Pearl and Slate were developed as a pair. Pearl has a subtle pink undertone, while Slate is a dark, smoky gray. In the contrast pieces, the second color follows the edges of the garment and makes the cut more visible.

Autumn Body was started in 2021 by Vanessa Perry, who personally designs each piece.
